EXCITING CHANGES

Since 2009, ER Abroad has been dedicated to connecting volunteers and resources with communities in need. Over the past 16 years, we've been honored to work alongside passionate individuals, generous donors, and dedicated local leaders—especially through our partnership with BuildinGuate in Guatemala.

As of September 1, 2025, ER Abroad will officially merge operations with BuildinGuate and discontinue as an independent nonprofit organization.

​

This transition reflects the strong and successful collaboration we've built over many years. BuildinGuate has been the primary facility where our volunteers have served, and its directors have long been our close partners in this mission. We are confident that this next chapter will allow for even greater impact.

Medical mission trips will continue to take place in March and October, just as they have in past years—and we’re hopeful that these trips may expand to occur even more frequently as our merger is finalized.
